About Us… My Café Creations is all about the American Dream! I am a working mother and wife and I am committed to living each day for the day, following my dreams, being a great role model and having a career that enables my family to be together…(we are finally retiring from the military!)
I married my husband at the young age of 19 and followed him to Europe- yes, I married a military man! Everyone did not expect it to last and here we are…still married, with two children and we actually like each other!
We traveled the world the first 10 years of our marriage and I finally accumulated enough credits from the various universities that I attended to graduate with a BS in Public Relations and a minor in Business in 1996. Then I headed off for the corporate world….and found that no matter how much money you make it does not make you happy.
I opened a coffeehouse 4 years ago and went into debt for the first time in my life and have never been happier. I am able to attend my functions with my children, I am able to work with people in a fun environment, I able to use all of my talents in marketing and embrace my challenges every day. Then I decided to go further into debt and open a second coffeehouse- because I did not have enough to do!
My coffeehouses have opened a lot of new doors for me and one of them is My Café Creations. By listening to my customers I found that expense, time, availability, and flavor are very important. I watched the customer’s patterns-- some couldn’t afford to come all the time, some did not care where they bought their coffee, and some would say they wished they could make them at home. As I listened and studied people I began to put my entrepreneurship abilities to work. These are paying customers telling me what they would buy…Convenience that Tastes Great! And that is how My Café Creations was born.
I took our most popular flavors and mixed cream, pure sugars, decantant flavors, spices, and velvety chocolates in different recipes to create a delicious substitute for your favorite coffeehouse mocha or latte and put it in an adorable package with sassy taglines to make anyone smile. It is easy to use, cost effective, flavorful, unique, and satisfies the need for any coffee drinker or gift giver.
I also took it a step further and developed a Java Rub for BBQ season-- Wake up your taste buds and have your guests “buzzing” about your BBQ rub! This is a dry rub with a variety of spices and ground espresso. Don’t let the name fool you! Just rub on your choice of meat, grill and savor the flavor!
